Keystone Kops kick off with two officers attempting to rescue a young boy from a man intent on killing them, only to stumble upon a basement filled with acid, which then ignites seriously burning one of the officers. Montoya, upon learning the officer begins working the case with Allen. Upon the detectives investigating the basement, they discover a periodic table belonging to Doctor Alchemy, as the cop who was burned raises from his hospital bed laughing.
